Product Details

The Dongler® is the ﬁrst true Universal Dongle & Adapter Ring Holder. The Dongler® keeps all brands of dongles and adapters corralled and secured for their next connection.

The Dongler® Harnesses are an innovative and easy way to secure your dongles to The Dongler®. The Dongle Harnesses are used to attach any “pigtail” dongle adapter to The Dongler®. These Dongle Harnesses can be added to all Dongler models. If you need to attach an adapter without a pigtail, please use our Adapter Harness (part: DO-H002).

This package contains:

(3) Dongle Harnesses for attaching any pigtail dongle adapter,
(2) Spare hex lock and screws
(1) Harness Tool for locking/unlocking your dongle to the Dongle Harness.

INSTRUCTIONS

Simply loop the Harness over the connector end (ﬁg 1). Pull the wire loop tighter until it loosely slides along the cable (ﬁg 2). Do not attach tight to the dongle cable as that may affect the dongle performance (ﬁg 3). You only want to tighten the loop so the dongle cannot fall or be removed from the harness. When you are satisﬁed with the attachment insert the Harness Tool into the sliding lock and tighten (ﬁg 4). If desired you can trim any excess wire with heavy duty cutting pliers.

ADJUSTING HARNESS LENGTH

The Adapter Harness can be kept long or short.

Advantages of each:

Short Harness – Close to Dongler Ring: Cleaner, less chance to tangle when not in use.
Longer Harness – Allows more connection space/room. Keeps The Dongler® further away from the adapter connections. Less chance of putting strain on the connection sockets during use.

To reduce harness length, please follow the steps below:

Untighten hex screw with tool.
Slide hex lock until desired harness length is reached.
Tighten hex screw with tool.
Excess wire can be trimmed off using a wire cutter tool.

Note: The Dongler® is not designed to be an invulnerable protection measure. The Dongler® is designed to discourage casual theft and the inadvertent removal of the attached dongles and adapters.
